SNHU Professional Skills Registration & Retake Policy
Retake Policy
Learners who do not successfully complete a course within their one-year registration period may request to retake the same course one time only. A retake fee of $85 per course will apply.
To request a retake, learners must contact skills@snhu.edu.
A retake is defined as re-enrollment in the same course after an incomplete or unsuccessful attempt. Learners are responsible for completing all course requirements during the retake.
Course Access Policy
Learners have until September 20, 2025 to successfully complete any course. Course access expires 30 days after sucessful completion period, regardless of learner activity or engagement.
Access begins start date of course purchased. Logging into the platform or engaging with course content is not required to initiate this access window.
Completion Requirements
Successful completion is defined as meeting all academic, participation, and assessment requirements as outlined by SNHU Professional Skills. Partial completion or participation without achieving the required outcomes does not constitute successful completion.
Refund Policy
All purchases are final. SNHU Professional Skills does not provide refunds for any course, program, or payment plan under any circumstances.
Extension Policy
Extensions may be granted only to learners who are near successful completion and demonstrate a clear path to finishing the course. Decisions regarding extensions are made at the sole discretion of SNHU Professional Skills and will be based on the learner’s demonstrated progress and academic standing.
To be considered for an extension:
- The request must be submitted prior to the course expiration date.
- The learner must have completed a majority of the course content and assessments.
- Learners with minimal progress or insufficient engagement will not be eligible and will be advised to retake the course per the policies above.
Communication and Request Protocol
All formal requests—including those for retakes and extensions—must be submitted via email to skills@snhu.edu. The official timestamp of the received email will be used to determine eligibility and compliance with deadlines.
